How to update this MOD

If you are using this MOD already, please read this.

In this update, the content of the file has been changed. (Especially chassis settings)
If you do the ordinary update process (overwrite the file), you maybe get a problem of the compatibility of the savefile, or many errors in console. In order to avoid it, please do the following.

1. Run the game, and load your savefile. If you have a job, finish the work or cancel it.

2. Go to a service, and customize your truck to stock cabin and stock chassis.
Accessory parts will be no problem probably. Also don't forget your employees trucks.

3. Check out and save your savefile. If you have several savefiles using this MOD, repeat it.

4. Close the game, and update the file. (Just overwrite the scs file in your mod folder.)

5. It's done.

Required game version: 1.14.2 or higher

Overview

Various parts have been swapped from Streamline in this update.
Parts swap is a basic technique of the vehicle customization, right? And I love R series model. (Especially, the design of air intakes of the cabin and round shape of the rear wheel fenders.)

And I added lowered cabin version (low profile cabins) for each chassis. I don't like a gap between wheel houses and tires. The position of the cabin and front chassis part has been lowered 10 centimeters. Ride height of the front bumper became almost same as stock side skirts. But collision settings are not changed.

And for lowered cabins. Since the mounting position of the various parts and accessories has been also lowered relatively, you can use your favorite parts as ever. However, this may affect the custom paint jobs such as a position deviation of the paint design. In addition, the side skirts bundles the exclusive parts to match those consistency.

About combinations of the front grilles, rear wheel fenders, headlights and tail lights.
I created almost all patterns using parts of Scania R and Streamline in this update.
As a result, the size of scs file have more than doubled. Over 30 megabytes...

And these have another chassis for lowered cabins.

Setting files are 398 kinds in total. (default 6 + custom 392)

6x2 Midlift is either non-existent or very rare configuration.
I like Midlift axle chassis, but I don't like single tyre and steerable axle for the rear wheels. So I created it.

All of the chassis of Streamline rear fenders does not support for the midlift axle chassis.
Because, maximum height of the lifted axle is slightly different between R series and Streamline.
The lifting value of R series is higher than Streamline. And the tyres will protrude from the rear fenders by this difference.
So I decided to not support Streamline rear fenders for the midlift axle chassis.
I think the lifting value is set by design of the game program. I can't do anything...

If you don't need some chassis, just delete their *.sii files in scs file.

This is a new accessory of the same way as Volvo FH 2012.
Roof sign decal and Griffin decor stripes have been separated from cabin models.
Navigate position of the accessory pin is my original. (not official)

You can create your own decals. I prepared the files for 5 types in each. (20 types in total)
Texture files are in the following directory.

Streamline Paint Job (Paint shop in a service)

Making paint job skins for this MOD

SCS added UV channel 3 on their truck models in the patch 1.9.22 update.
And lots of in-game paint jobs and latest Steam paint jobs DLC "Force of Nature" are using UV channel 3.

This MOD is almost perfectly compatible with UV channel 3.
But I recommend to use UV channel 2 (layout of matching_pattern.dds) as before for creating a texture.

Is this a final form? I don't know...
